Jamie Bortot, DPT

Physical Therapist

Jamie Bortot is a Clearfield, PA native who graduated from Clearfield High School and pursued a career in physical therapy. She attended Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia, where she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Jamie brings nearly 20 years of experience as a physical therapist and management experience. She began her career at Joyner Sportsmedicine Institute in Clearfield, PA, where she was hired by fellow Radius Physical Therapy therapist Bill Serena.

Jamie practices a hands-on approach to physical therapy and believes that healing does take place not only physically but also emotionally. When someone has their physical freedom taken from them, in one way or another, they need more than just exercise and stretching to heal and return to their highest level of function. Listening to a patient, and acknowledging the challenges they face and the goals that are important to them, is just as crucial to the whole healing process and to have the patient genuinely invest in their recovery.

Over the nearly 20 years that Jamie has practiced as a therapist, she has developed lasting relationships in the community. She has enjoyed making an impact on the lives of the people of her local community. Jamie is looking forward to joining the Radius Physical Therapy team and developing relationships with the people of the DuBois community. She will continue to use manual treatment techniques and develop individualized plans to achieve the results her patients are looking for. Jamie treats patients of all ages and diagnoses, including post-operative orthopedic patients, athletes of various skill sets and injury types, those suffering neurological conditions and balance deficits, persons with vestibular diagnoses, pediatrics, and those who are deconditioned

When Jamie is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Bryan, and their children. She enjoys camping, spending time with family and friends, and hiking. She also leads the children's ministry at her church. Jamie will work hard to provide the high-quality care that the people of the Dubois area deserve.
